These are peppermills in variouas north american hard woods and also some exotic hardwoods. There are two types of segmenting included and are of the exotic hardwoods mentioned.
These candle sticks are 8 to 13" X 2 1/4" and are of Peruvian black walnut (left) and cherry from northern Wisconcin. The black walnut sticks have a left hand twist but the design can be several different styles.
This birdhouse lamp was constructed for a fund raiser for the Arts of Snohomish gallery in 2005. The shade was made by my wife Barb. It is a stave design of 12 pieces and is spalted alder. Notice how the bird hung around for the picture?
