SOLD  Heron  This vase is turned from yellow cedar and is 11" tall and is burned and carved.

 

Madrone  This madrone vase is 12" tall and is turned from the crotch of the tree.  The joint between the the two branching arms of the tree is where this flame pattern is created.  On occassion you will see a flame pattern on both sides of the vase.

 

The three of these are Russian olive and were sandcarved, then painted black and resanded to highlight the hard grain of the wood.
